For young professionals, students, families, and people of all ages, there’s a new place with a blend of great coffee, delectable pasta, sandwiches, and sweets in Kasapigan, Pasig City. Yani Cafe boasts a spacious space with cozy interiors where you can have banter with your friends or spend some time to enjoy a cup of coffee and hearty meals.
Yani Cafe can be found in the 2/F of Mariposa Arcade along the busy streets of A. Mabini street in Kapasigan, Pasig City. The location is perfect not only for those who have offices or residences nearby.
When I visited Yani Café, I was really impressed by the elegant and modern look of its interior. Space is also something worth mentioning because it can accommodate many customers and yet it still quite roomy, which most people find quintessential. Upon entry, I was greeted by the friendly staff as well as the enticing smell of freshly ground and roasted Robusta coffee.
I also noticed that there’s a spot inside the café with an assortment of food products, almost a mini-grocery I call it. I learned that the items sold in this section are produced by local businessmen and entrepreneurs. This is because, which I also found out, Yani Cafe’s goal is to promote and help the community by featuring its local’s products. A full pledged coffee shop, Yani Cafe also features a mini-library with several books and some board games which you can play while waiting for your order.
Cafe Restaurant and many more
And of course, the main reason why I visited Yani Cafe is for their coffee and food. I received lots of recommendations from friends and colleagues, and they only said one thing, “ Try this place soon, you’ll surely love it!”
Yani Cafe’s menu is comprised of mostly comfort food which includes pasta favorites, gourmet sandwiches, cakes, pastries, and their main feature, coffee, and other blends. They’ve include tea, wines, and San Miguel draft beer on their menu as added attractions.
You might be thinking right now that the food and drinks here must be expensive, but you’ll be glad to know that they’re really quite affordable. Some of their favorite dishes include Bolognese Pasta (P145), Beef Panini (P125), Creamy Chicken Tarts (P45), and Beef and Cheese Nachos (P175). You can also enjoy their desserts which include Cheesecake (P105 per slice), cookies (P45), and chocolate pudding (P45).
Yes, I was surprised myself how affordable the food and drinks are. And this is without compromising quality. The classy ambiance and quality menu need not be expensive!
There are many to choose from in their menu and I ordered the Black Truffle Rissoto which instantly became my favorite! Their Cacio e Pepe pasta is also to go fo at Yani Cafe, and it reminded me of the same dish I had at Vanderlust Bistro in Podium. I also tried one of their Paninis and it was really crunchy. For my drinks, I went for their signature coffee, Dolce Vita which I find really affordable at only P125 per cup. And I really enjoyed that amazing cup!
Start your day with great coffee here
Having said all the details above, the mind behind all the quality and affordable hearty food is Mr. Richie Bernardo. His 20 years’ experience as a chef in Washington was personified in the Yani Cafe’s well – thought, refreshing interior design and the great dish they serve to their patrons.
Vegetarians can also rejoice as the café restaurant also have vegetarian options for you. They serve Vegan Pasta by request, and a rejuvenating drink called Alisa just for you.
