Yaki Kai Fusion Buffet is the newest restaurant offering unlimited Japanese-Korean cuisine. Yes, you read that combination of words right! It’s perfect for people who can’t decide if they want Japanese or Korean. Why not both, right?
They just recently opened this December 11, 2019 and they’re inviting everyone to come celebrate with them. To kick-off their soft opening, they’re currently offering a Soft Opening Promo for their dine-in guests. From December 11, 2019 to January 31, 2020, they’re slashing off P100 from their Grill Buffet Sets. There are three kinds of sets you can choose from:
Master Set – P299 (from P399), chicken and pork
- Chicken Terikayaki
- Spicy Chicken Yakiniku
- Samgyupsal
- Spicy Samgyupsal
- Galbi Sauce Pork
- Peppered Pork Shoulder Loin
Premium Set – P399 (from P499), chicken pork, beef, and shrimp, with cheese dip
- Everything in Master Set
- Sliced Beef
- Beef Tare Yakiniku
- Spicy Beef
- Fresh Shrimp
Emperor Set – 599 (from P699), chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, and fish, with cheese dip
- Everything in Master Set and Premium Set
- Beef Stock (Chuck eye Roll)
- Jjamppong Nabe
- Salmon Sashimi
- Ebi Tempura
All their grill buffet sets above include buffet dishes like sushi, chicken barbecue, bacon barbecue, fried rice, salad, kimchi, tempura and many more. The buffet menu may vary depending on the season availability.
You’ll also be served 2 trays of meat at one time. We were allowed tray refills when we started grilling one of the two trays of meat. So they’re not too strict about that. They also only accept cash payments at the moment. Hopefully they’ll accept other payment methods the next time I return.
For the Christmas season, they introduced a 100% Win Christmas Raffle Promo. For each person who purchases a buffet set, he or she can make a raffle draw and 100% get a prize. Their prizes are free coupons for 1.5 L of Coke, 2 Melona ice cream sticks, 1 bucket of beer, and The Bomb (Cheese Steamed Egg).
We got the Emperor Set when we visited. Everything was so good. I highly recommend getting their Emperor Set, because it will give you all Yaki Kai has to offer. Plus, the price is very affordable for Japanese and Korean food. Their sashimi, sushi, fresh shrimp, and ebi tempura is notably very fresh. I loved their Spicy Beef, Beef Tare Yakiniku, Kimchi, and Jjampong Nabe too. These were all spicy, just according to my tastes. So if you’re a fan of spicy food too, get a plateful of these. Their cheese dips are also delicious, especially because they used a ton of mozzarella cheese in their mixture.
I had fun dining at Yaki Kai Fusion Buffet, because it combined two of my favorite cuisines under one roof. The Japanese and Korean dishes all tasted authentic and fresh. Plus, there were also so many kinds of dishes and meat available that you won’t get bored of just the grill experience.
