Vagabond’s Signature 1 Kilo Steak – HTD Favorite!
Normally, I would start talking about appetizers. This time around, I am going all in to pronounce my love for MEAT! And Vagabonds Greenhills definitely has much to boast. All thanks to the impressive 1 Kilogram Vagabond’s Signature 1 Kilo Steak! Ready?
For only Php 2,650.00, your whole group can devour on a extra-juicy 1,000 gram hanging tender steak. Premium-quality meat served on a sizzling plate and a choice of four sauces.
Choose from chimichurri, soy ginger, barbecue and spiced up, garlic peppercorn. While the steak itself wasn’t the most tender I’ve eaten, it was well-seasoned and extra juicy. I loved the chimichurri and garlic peppercorn the best. Option to give the steak a delicious kick of chili flakes.
Quattro Formaggi + Garlic (Php 220.00, Appetizer)
While waiting for your steak, why don’t you start with the classic Quattro Formaggi + Garlic? Crunchy slices of melba toast with an extra creamy quattro formaggi (4 cheese) dip. I loved that it was thick, creamy, and generous in serving.
Belgian Wanderer Wings (Php 245.00)
Chicken wings covered in a unique blend of dark chocolate and Spanish Paprika. Personally, I liked to combination of savor, sweet, and spice. Save for the few bites that I thought were a little burnt. Comes with pimiento aioli dip.
Tagalog’s Best Wings (Php 245.00)
Love Kare-Kare? Vagabonds successfully translated the taste into wings. Bagoong wings creatively infused with peanut butter aioli dip. A little salty as is but delicious when combined with rice.
Monticello Classic Mac & Cheese (Php 295.00)
Kids and kids-at-heart will definitely love the Monticello Classic Mac & Cheese from Vagabonds Artisan Comfort Food. Classic mac and cheese showered with a cloud of bacon. Crunchy delicious bacon, if I must note!
Bleu Cheese Mac (Php 295.00) – HTD Favorite!
Like your comfort food with a twist? Go for the ‘posh’ version with Vagabonds Greenhills’ Bleu Cheese Mac Pasta. Vagabond’s style, bleu cheese, balsamic, and honey reduction.
Now those ingredients might sound funky at first. But believe me, the finished product is definitely delicious and crave-worthy!
Boracay Chori Burger (Php 295.00)
This was the least liked dish on our table, to be honest. The meat was dry. And it did not taste anything like the classic Boracay Chori Burger that I know. Sadly, it missed the mark for the savory, sweet-spicy flavors I’m accustomed to in the island.
Ibiza Chicken Chorizo (Php 295.00) – HTD Favorite!
Spanish inspired chicken served with chorizo pilaff. A tender chicken quarter marinated in a delicious, intense medley of various spices. Tasted like a delicious hybrid of paella + chicken curry rice. Super good!
Scout’s Treats S’Mores (Php 150.00) – HTD Favorite!
And then came dessert, a very very delicious dessert. I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything like this heavenly treat from Vagabonds Artisan Comfort Food. A (very) thick chocolate pudding topped with blow torched marshmallows. Then sprinkled with crushed graham crackers. It was too good, I had a whole serving to myself. Ooppsss. SARAP EH!
