4 Korean-Style Chicken Series at Kyochon Philippines
Original Series
First time to dine at Kyochon Philippines? No problem. I’d highly recommend you go with the Original Series first. Savor on Kyochon’s signature recipe of Soy sauce and garlic. I loved the crispiness of the chicken and the mild (but tasty) garlicky flavor of this one!
Honey Series
A good step up from the original series of Kyochon Philippines is the Honey Series. Outside, you can expect a mildly-sweet honey-glaze. And once you take a bite, a juicy delight awaits! Don’t forget the gloves (or to wash your hands!)
Red Series
Like your food with a kick of spice? The Red Series by Kyochon Philippines is your best bet. Spicy and tangy on the outside with a kick inside. This one gets its spice from real Korean red chilli pepper. I would say it ranks about 6/10 on the spice meter though.
Soon-Sal Series
Last but definitely not the least on Kyochon Philippines’ 4 chicken styles is the Soon-Sal Series. Chicken breast strips, coated with rice krispies. Served with either a tangy Jambalaya sauce or the all-time favorite honey mustard dipping sauce. I actually liked the concept and flavor of this one. However, I felt the chicken meat might be a little dry.
Sides and Other Favorites at Kyochon Philippines
As they say, let’s elevate the dining experience. So let’s elevate our chicken party with specialty sides prepared by Kyochon Philippines. I would personally pick rice because #RiceIsLife. Choose from Kimchi Fried Rice, Garlic Butter Rice, and Chicken Fried Rice. OR… You can also go for their crispy potato wedges (Php 149.00). And even the light and refreshing Green Salad (Php 160.00).
All chicken by Kyochon are double fried. But since they use canola oil (with zero transfat), it’s definitely healthier. No glacial acetic acid, sodium saccharine, and MSG too! I must say, the waiting time for orders is quite a bit though. As Kyochon’s Fried Chicken are prepared on the spot (22 minutes to be exact) so expect a delicious, juicy, and fresh batch every time! Price range is from Php 149 to P699, depending on the chicken part and quantity.Kyochon Philippines is located at Eastwood City Walk, Estancia Mall, Robinsons Place Manila. SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall and Greenhills Theater Mall.
