Where to Eat in Makati: Glorietta Food Choices
Eating out in Makati City can be daunting. Especially with the volume of people working and living in the area. And even more with the voluminous number of food options scattered all over the CBD. But alas, Makati City dwellers can now revisit the recently reopened Glorietta Food Choices. A giant food hub offering all sorts of food cravings for all sorts of foodies.
Glorietta Food Choices: Top-of-mind food hub in Makati City
The thing I love most about food courts (even foodparks for that matter) is the wide variety of food options they offer. Want something light and healthy? You got it. Craving for some savory meals? Go, treat yourself. Looking for a mix of international and local flares? Take your pick. Things I totally took delight in when I visited Glorietta Food Choices.
Located at the 3rd level of Glorietta 4, Glorietta Food Choices boasts of an exciting dining experience in a cozy setting. A modern ambiance made of warm wood details, chic chairs and tables mixed-and-matched with a range of textures and finishes.
I loved the relaxing mood set by the subtle monochromatic palette brightened up by neon-lit signages.
Now let’s talk about the food at Glorietta Food Choices. There’s more or less 30 stalls that adorn this modern food court. The food shops that are found along the Food Choices aisles are a curated mix of familiar favorites, fusion cuisine, and delightfully wicked sweets. From Filipino, Asian, Latin, Mediterranean, Coffee, Desserts, and more! Here’s my quick list on what to eat at the Food Choices by Glorietta.
Asian Flavors at Glorietta Food Choices
For those who want a taste of Filipino home cooking, there’s Reyes BBQ for that inihaw and java rice meal fix. While Mabini’s Kainan Kapihan is set to serve a revolutionary menu. Craving for something hearty and meaty? Dine at Mesa Steak Sizzlers for that much-deserved el carne.
Those who want to enjoy Asian flavors can take their pick from Kraken Takoyaki (HTD Fave), Sushi Nori’s sushi rolls and poke bowls, Maisen’s Katsu sets, and Banh Mi Vietnamese sandwiches.
My personal favorite was Taiwanese-style meals from Mr. Chops where we had the chicken and pork chops. Legit, giant, crunchy chops seasoned Taiwan style!
And of course, the meaty goodness of the sizzling sets from Pepper Lunch Express will always be clear winners.

Thinking Chinese? Go for the familiar favorites from El Presidente of Binondo. That, or get some chopsticks-action with the delightful Thai food from BKK Express and Singaporean-Chinese offerings from Wangfu Express. Personally loved the creative eats served by Kosoo’s Korean specialties.
Meaty Favorites at Food Choices by Glorietta
First stop at the meat train is the bestselling flavored fried chicken and chicken skin from Birdhouse (HTD Fave). Crunchy outside and deliciously tender and juice inside. The Rotisserie also offers some clucking treats for the chicken lover in you. And of course, who can say no to the all-time favorite World Chicken? Big meals with delicious sides at pocket-friendly prices.
Shawa Wama is also set to serve up its popular pita wraps soon. For carbo-loading on great pasta, there’s Farina’s. While The Farmery surely impressed me with their carnivore-friendly dishes like the Ribeye Steak and the tapa.
And for more health-conscious diners, there are good food options from the Juicy Fresh Juice Bar, and Peppy Olive’s heart-healthy Mediterranean delights. I loved their falafel and hummus the most!
Bottoms Up (Drinks)!
A new way to enjoy a caffeine fix is also in the works with choices of cold brew coffee from Nitro 7 Coffee & Tea Bar. While Pure Nectar’s juice cleanse sets are also available for those who want to drink up on healthy stuff.
If something stronger is needed, diners can unwind with a glass or two of good vino from Totide Wine Bar in the coming days.
Sweets for Treats
Dessert is always a good idea. And Glorietta Food Choices has a great array of sweet temptations. Start your sweet journey from Taho Manila’s take on a street food fave to Cassalu Coffee and Kitchen’s Filipino cheesecakes.
Then jump to delight with Dulcinea’s bestselling churros con chocolate and Lord Stow’s egg tarts (the best one in Manila IMO).
.Hot day? Cool off from shopping and head for Jungle Joy’s Banana con Hielo. I loved that their dessert was just sweet enough and was totally refreshing. If you’re into Korean bingsu, Wooyoo Premium Milk Frost has a delicious lineup for you to taste
Thinking to bring some sweet stuff home? There’s always Mary Grace and Sans Rival. Mo’s Cookies will soon delight cookie lovers with their mouth-watering treats that are offered in bite-sized (called crumbs!), which is good for sharing, and their palm-sized cookies.
So whether you’re working, living, or just visiting Makati, dining at the Glorietta Food Choices is a must. Good eats for every kind of hungry tummy!
