NEW RESTAURANT ALERT: Camp Curry Ayala Malls Feliz
Camp Curry first opened shop in the Philippines in Ayala Triangle last April 2018. More popularly known as Tokyo’s best curry, Camp Curry has its humble beginnings in an alley in Yoyogi, Tokyo Japan. And this year, foodies from the North and East are in for a treat. As Camp Curry Philippines has finally opened their second store in the new Ayala Malls Feliz. So gather round, pitch your tents, and have a big curry feast with Camp Curry. Where there’s definitely a curry delicious dish meant for every hungry camper!

But first let’s talk about Camp Curry’s awesome ambiance. I haven’t been to the Ayala Triangle location so I was really surprised with my first Camp Curry dining experience. Right as I stepped inside, I immediately felt I was transported into the great outdoors.
Talk about hiking bags hanging from the ceiling, thermos and gas lamps as table decors, (faux) grass walls, and staff all dressed in camp attire. And so I thought, “If Camp Curry Philippines can get this creative with their store, what more for their food?” Needless to say, I was beyond ecstatic to eat!
Bestsellers at Camp Curry
BBQ Beef & Green Vegeful Curry (Php 390.00)
First stop, my top favorite: Camp Curry’s BBQ Beef & Green Vegeful Curry. 150g of tender beef, flame-grilled and basted in their special signature BBQ-Sauce, served with fully-loaded chunky vegetables.
The menu says the BBQ Beef is best paired with green vegeful curry sauce. But I got tempted to go for the Cheesy Curry instead. Best decision ever! Juicy tender beef, cooked to perfection, dipped in an ooey-goeey skillet of Japanese curry topped with mozarella and parmesan cheese. SARAP!
BBQ Chicken & Brown Keema Curry (Php 290.00)
Fan of poultry? Go for Camp Curry’s BBQ Chicken & Brown Keema Curry. Smoked chicken thigh finished on the grill, basted in special BBQ sauce, served with fully-loaded chunky vegetables. Best paired with brown keema curry sauce. Loved the moist and well-seasoned meat paired with chunky keema sauce.
BBQ Sausage & Chunky Vegetables (Php 330.00)
No campfire is complete without hotdogs, well, sausage for that matter. Be sure to try to savory BBQ Sausage & Chunky Vegetables. Sausage seemed a tad smaller compared to menu photos. But it was still worth the bite!
BBQ Prawns & Japanese Curry (Php 420.00)
I love shrimp and this is a good alternative if you want to skip meat. Grilled in the shell prawns basted in their signature BBQ sauce, served with fully loaded chunky vegetables. Best paired with special Japanese curry sauce. A little overpriced for the serving but still a good pick given the taste.
Spicy Nachos (Php 250.00)
Looking for something spicy? Go loco with Camp Curry’s spicy nachos! Crisp nacho chips layered with melted cheddar cheese and lean ground beef, topped with cherry tomatoes, cilantro and a Cajun spice mix. Spicy, savory, tasty!
Gyoza Cheese (Php 210.00, 7 pcs.)
Japanese food has always been big on starters. One of my favorites is the classic gyoza. And I loved that Camp Curry took it a step forward with their Gyoza Cheese. It’s as tasteful as the name suggest. Meaty, savory gyoza wraps with creamy cheese filling.
Karaage (Php 180.00, 5 pcs.)
Another side or starter favorite is Camp Curry’s Karaage. Juice and Tender chicken bites, seasoned, and fried to a golden crisp.
CAMP’s S’more Special (Php 180.00)
Finally dessert! There’s nothing that speaks camping more than a good skillet of s’mores! So go and indulge on those toasted marshmallows on a layer of graham biscuits with chocolate syrup. Served with matcha ice cream and candy sprinkles.
CAMP’s French Toast (Php 190.00)
Oh my heart! Slices of milk-infused French bread in a rich egg batter, toasted in a hot iron skillet, dashed with cinnamon mix and topped with vanilla ice cream. The best french toast I’ve had by far!
Still hungry? Go for the other must-try’s at Camp Curry Philippines. These include the Yakisoba Curry (Php 210.00), Yakisoba (Php 180.00), Gyoza Curry (Php 210.00, 7 pcs).
Overall, I enjoyed my first dining experience with Camp Curry Philippines. Flavors and dish combinations are well thought of and well executed. Not to mention the happy camper ambiance of the place. Visit Camp Curry Philippines’ Facebook Page for updates. #ImAHappyCamper #CampCurryPH
