Who can say no to a buffet?
As a Filipino, we grew up with feast. May it be in the city or in your province, our table would be filled with mouth-watering cuisines and desserts; one of the many reasons why tourists keep going back during holidays here, everywhere you look, you can get enough of foods flaunting its aroma.
That’s why buffet restaurants are just so popular here in the country. And for those of you who want to try a different buffet that will definitely meet your expectations, you can have it at Latitude Hotel Jen. The hotel is not only known for its branches across Asia (e.g. Malaysia and Singapore) and its cost-effective rates and locations near famous spots to visit, but also because of their buffet patronize by its loyal customers.
What can I eat in Latitude Hotel Jen Buffet?
This all-day dining buffet theme that you can visit at the lobby of Hotel Jen near the front desk offers not only Asian but international cuisines that you may indulge while enjoying the cozy atmosphere of the place.
Just like the normal buffet setup, you may grab any food your heart (and stomach) desires without worrying if it’ll cost you a lot fortune for one dine. Their lunch buffet starts at PHP 1,400.00 per person while for dinner buffet it’ll cost PHP 1,600.00 per person. Tip: Visit their Facebook page if you’re planning to eat there because they have themed dinners (e.g. Saturday Barbecue) so you can choose your preferred day to visit.
Though it may sound like the price isn’t as high as those you may have visited before, Latitude Hotel can definitely compete with how sumptuous their dishes are. It’ll always leave you famish for more on every station that you can get your plate on.
What are the different stations in Latitude Hotel Jen Buffet?
Central Buffet Station
If there’s one thing I always do before going to buffet- drink water only. Why? Let’s just say I want to squeeze in Penne Meatballs for my undying love for pasta, have Braised Beef for its flavorful beef slices are like stairway to heaven of foods if such exist not to include how their Beef Brisket is just something you can pass on wonderful afternoon. It’s a sure thing that Latitude Buffet make the best out of the beef.
Not only that, they also have serve their famous Bacon Wrapped Chicken with Pepper Gravy which will make you question why fast food restaurants don’t have chickens wrapped around bacon. They also offer Honey Peppered Pork that comes with a sauce that will make you come back at the station over and over again.
Need I say more about cheese? The cheese station comes with variety of cheese you may choose from paired with biscuits and grapes. As this is also one of my personal favorites as a big fan of cheese, I can’t stress enough how their cheese stations is just so delish.
A personal favorite! Not only you can spoil yourself with lots of bacon for your carbonara, but their pasta is just definitely superb. From the sauces to toppings, it’s something that will make you want to go back or fall in love with pasta the way I have been for years.
Maybe it’s best to also give a forewarning that you should create some imaginary portions in your stomach for the seafood station shouldn’t missed out as well.
In here you may choose from the following; juicy and fresh prawns, blue crabs, mussels which may sever either cold, fried or baked, you just have to ask the server which way you’d like your seafood to be served. This is just one of the stations I usually go back to every time.
For all sushi lovers out there, the sushi station is available from morning until evening, definitely the best place to spoil ourselves with sushi and sashimi while enjoying other delicacies.
One course meal wouldn’t be complete without a complimenting dessert and this station wouldn’t disappoint you with their mouth-watering offers. From the traditional Halo-Halo, puto, kutsinta, and Ice Cream, they also have Cream Puffs, Mocha Cakes, Mango Coconut Parfaits, and even Pudding to choose from.
For some buffet I’ve went before, extra beverage has a charge but not with Latitude Buffet since it’s already included in the buffet. So, need not to sweat if your Red Iced Tea or Orange Lemonade would be charge or not.
What I like most about this place aside obviously from the food is the space of the buffet itself- it’ll make you feel at home and not intimidated by its environment unlike most buffet restaurants. You may have your breakfast here without worrying if you’re over or under dressed. Grab a lunch or dinner while unwinding and enjoying the foods they have to offer.
